Coral Peña (For All Mankind) as Leia. She's a tough cookie in For All Mankind and I'd like to see a "Princess" that's a bit more modern.

I'll say Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo & Donald Glover as Lando. But, I don't know. Seems like they could do a good job.
Oh man, a prequel about young Han starring those two would make a fantastic movie. I would definitely see it, easy $1b at the box office, for sure.

Qui Gon Jinn - Jude Law (looking like young Dumbledore)
Obi Wan - Tom Hiddleston (I can imagine him saying 'hello there', imo he has the right amount of smugness, swagger and likeability)
Padme - Jenna Coleman (she's Bucky's date in Captain America, she plays Clara in Doctor Who, Queen Victoria and Melia in Xenoblade, I can see that)
Count Dooku - Ben Kingsley
Mace Windu - Djimon Hounsou
Jango Fett - Karl Urban
Darth Maul - A stunt man yeah, but Benedict Cumberbatch says his cool lines in the trailers. He only has 1 line in the movie.
Palpatine - Toby Jones (would play it differently from Mcdirmind, but I think he could pull of the duality and hammyness)

I can get behind most of these. Jude Law as Qui Gon... ehhh, maybe.
I thought of Tilda Swinton too as Quin Gon Jinn, that type of character.
I think I can speak for all of us when I say that James Corden would 100% be cast as Jar Jar Binks for a modern day adaptation
