So I guess this about answers what Microsoft is going to be doing with MLG that people were wondering. Either a massive downscaling or possibly even outright putting MLG as a brand out to pasture.

I lost contact with this website long ago, but I've got some super fond memories of it back when it was called Socombattles, I even helped mod the forums during the transition from Socom battles to Gamebattles pre MLG era with Chip.

One day Socom will come back, and so will [LiQ] and [G] in some form!

Socom 2 was my first online gaming experience, some great memories doing clan wars on GB.

Gamebattles was AWFUL to use for most tournaments, I have seen so many complaints about it as someone a little active in the overwatch t3 scene.
