Pikmin 3 because I'm a big Pikmin fan but I did not have a Wii U unfortunately.
and Xeno X or Mario 3D World.... with a preference for Xeno X
If there are 2 WiiU ports in the direct, quite certain Pikmin 3 is one of them (and I'll probably buy it).
What the other one would be... well the ones I would be most interested in are TMS and Fatal Frame V, but I doubt it is either. Personally not interested in ports of 3D world, W101 (sorry!), or XBX (unless the game is changed in significant ways). If it is one of those three that's fine by me, I'm just not personally interested.

2018 was the year of all the lame, boring, not-critically-acclaimed, bomba Wii U ports like Mario Kart DX and NSMBU DX.
2019 is all about the genuine GOTY contenders, the 95+ Metacritic masterpieces, the ten million sellers. Like The Wonderful 101.

I would be perfectly happy with the Direct if this happens! I want this game to come out soon so badly!

I actually expect almost exactly this to happen (not necessarily Miyamoto though it's possible, but definitely Pikmin 3 port + Pikmin 4 teaser)
Yea adding a dub would be a good move for increasing the sales
2018 was the year of hating wii u ports.
2019 is the year of loving the Switch and remembering that the WiiU had some great games despite everything.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was 2017. And also the best-selling game on the Switch.
- NSMBUDX is a 2019 game.
Can't say you're wrong. I've been having a rough time and my sense of humor has been taking a toll apparently.
Anyway...
Would Pikmin 3 be completely playable with a pro controller on TV? Can't remember how much it expects a touchscreen. I actually wasn't a huge fan of the micro management between teams using the touchscreen, and the dull collectibles compared, but overall I still think it was a step up from 1&2 if you included all the DLC
The only Wii U game I didnt play that I want to play at some point is Paper Mario.. so I would welcome that. The others I''ve played to death already. But if we're really in 2 Wii U ports and a new Kirby game territory my hopes for a good direct (in my personal opinion ofc) lies with possible third party showings.

Wario Land: Shake It Harder! for the 3DS confirmed.
This makes me very happy. The Wii U version had some long load times. With that all smoothed out and some new content this game could be even better.
3D World in December would be a very pleasant surprise and probably send Switch into the heavens for sales numbers.

Also, Retro's 3rd 2D Donkey Kong, with new Crash-Bandicoot-Style 3D levels and segments. Revealed and set to release next spring.

And yet nobody wants to correct the part about The Wonderful 101 being a 95+ Metacritic, 10 million selling masterpiece? Diplomacy has succeeded.
It really is frustrating for the fans that Nintendo still doesn't understand why people love their products. I can't believe they prioritize games built on a factory line like NSMBU DX or Tropical Freeze over those with true artistic merit like TMS #FE.

I've bought every Wii U port except for Toad (Toad was a gift lol) even though I owned them on the Wii U lol.

I don't really get it either when Okami has been on basically every platform since release.
Yeah, I have too (including Captain Toad). On the fence with Pikmin 3 though; I want to replace my Wii U collection as much as possible, but I feel like I got enough out of that game already.
So what do we know for sure?

Not the game though, I mean the Smash 4 stage. Baffling exclusion from Ultimate.
Wave racer very soon as either *one last thing* or to start the ditect but i wouldnt be surprised to see a type of resort. Fingers crossed.

I just never had much love for Pikmin so I feel really bad for not being nearly as excited for that port. But yeah I want to replace my Wii U collection with their Switch counterparts.
I just hope 3D World's announcement is super close instead of further out.
First months after launch were specifically bad, I remember there were few months without single release after launch,
from summer 2013. even if it wasn't great it was much better.
Well, "when" is obviously tomorrow for Pikmin 3, but I hope 3D World is there too (even if the next 3D Mario is also there; don't think anyone would mind).
I'm expecting a new character to be one of the new additions, and Toadette fits that I guess.
She gets Toad's speed, Rosalina's high jump and Peach's float.
Emily do you know anything about the collaboration between Nintendo and Bandai Namco? Obviously Metroid Prime 4 was reported as a collaborative effort before it was rebooted, and Smash Ultimate was co-developed by Sora and Namco's Tokyo studios, but Ridge Racer 8 was rumoured too. Do you know if there was every any truth to that?
