This Dodgeball Academia came out of nowhere for me and looks so promising. Will wait for reviews since it's a bit pricey, but I hope it's awesome

And whilst it doesn't have a release date, I wouldn't be surprised if 'art of rally' comes out in August too.

I am somewhat tempted by the Mega Drive + Master System edition Picross however, I still haven't put all that much time into Picross S3 yet…

Listening to a gaming podcast while waiting on my copy to arrive had me return it once it did. Said it dips below 30 frequently, and even reaches sub-15 at times. Way worse than VIII was, which ran well for the hardware. I'm sure the game within is still good, but if you can play elsewhere it's highly suggested you do so.

August is not a big AAA month at all but wow here are the games I'm getting for Switch in the indie space:

Exciting month for me after a relatively extended drought on Switch. I am highly looking forward to all the games on my list.

I'll double check reviews and impressions of any that are multiplat to make sure Switch versions are ok but plan to get as many as I can on my Switch.

Oh and a random thought: I bought Skyward Sword at release, and a few days afterwards was at a local used game shop and when I checked out, I looked up and saw 2 of the new Zelda joycons behind the counter.

I had assumed they were sold out and would be impossible to find. So I am now the owner of a 3rd set of Joycons lol!!! They are ***so pretty*** !!!

It's the whole series in one & if I recall, there's a few references to the original .hack games, but should be fine as a starting point.

...man, speaking of, considering the insane prices for volumes 3 & especially 4, I'm shocked that hasn't been compiled into a compilation.

For a solid game, i give it a 4. Pure shit port and somewhat unplayable with many enemies on screen, it drops to a single digit.
