Not surprising, it has the widest mass appeal of any fighting game and the lowest skill floor so casuals feel comfortable with it fast.

Smash Ultimate will keep selling for the rest of the Switch's life cycle. The number is only going to climb higher.

Those are different skus, games(their content is different,stages different etc) even Sakurai calls them Smash 4 and 5 respectively so not really.
