Man it does look nice, and I like the white. But I know immediately if I get one, I'm switching the joycons with Hori Splitpad pros and them I'm like...eh... lol
The issue was just a missing screw, but what I heard was that Nintendo didn't modify them. Let's hope I'm wrong.
I very much doubt that. iirc Nintendo said these are the same joycons as previous ones.
I have a launch model and have only experienced the "connect controller" issue. And of course drift.
Honestly never heard of them being wobbly or squeaky.

I see a few tempered glass protectors already up in Amazon, but I don't know if they will fit perfectly on the new screen.

Is not an "upgrade" for people currently owning a Switch. It's just an another option for people who haven't purchased a Switch yet.
That's why they are still going to be selling the OG model.
The smaller bezels make a pretty huge difference when there's something bright on the screen.

Besides that the difference is probably quite bigger when you have them side by side. Its not like you are gonna see the OLED screen quality from pictures.
Is there any way to fix that loose, sliding off problem?

It looks easily removable, so hopefully it's not a big deal.
Absolutely true . I only use my joycons for ring fit adventures now . Hori split pad pro was a gamechanger for me.

Wow cheaper than my hori pad pro. Pre-ordered
It's a decent upgrade if you sell your previous version. I sold my V2 for $300 USD (literally). I only included the Skull & Co case I was using on it (it won't fit the OLED model) as an extra, and that's it.
So, $50 USD extra for 64GB of the storage, Ethernet, and OLED screen sounds nice. I think I read somewhere that the Bluetooth chip is different on the OLED version, so maybe headphones would work better too (but I'm not sure if those comments were true).
Feeling kinda hyped personally 😂
looks slick, can't wait to get my hands on it! Hopefully they do a pro controller to match the color scheme
