If you had told me i'd be hyped about a TokyoRPGfactory announcement i'd have been highly skeptical, but this is really intriguing.
That's some good pedigree. I'm not a fan of lost sphere, didn't play the other one. I'll wait to hear reviews.

im not buying a tokyo rpg factory game unless i see some insane glowing reviews after it releases
I wasn't interested in this game at all. After this thread, I'm actually interested in this now.
Reminder: Tokita was one of three directors on Chrono Trigger and has been more recently involved with games like 4 Warriors of Light and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
Also FFIV, Parasite Eve, Live A Live and FF: 4 Heroes of Light. He has writing credits on all of those too - guy is great. His only questionable project is FFIV: The After Years imo.
Tokyo RPGs last two games were complete borefests, so I'm not too hopeful, but this is intriguing! I guess we'll see.
It was such a cool premise. Why can't we get more JRPGs like that instead of the typical anime/fantasy fare

This gives me much more hope. Live a Live is excellent. Still hoping he can pull them up rather than the reverse happening

Also, I dug those too. Among the better SE mobile games - Dimensions 2 was even a discarded Chrono Break concept.
I've been pretty lukewarm on Tokyo RPG Factory thus far. If this doesn't do it, then I'll stop giving them chances.
Before it was a cool looking title that I was weary off due to allegedly mediocre track record of the developers, now my interest is back where it would be just on the title itself due to the project lead.

This is encouraging. However, I still feel a bit burned from wasting money on Lost Sphear. Some freaking Kemco games have more interesting plots and characters.
