Warzone Mobile earned 67% less than COD Mobile, could be big miss for Xbox

Warzone Mobile's debut revenues are reportedly down by some 67% from Call of Duty Mobile, and it may present an issue for Xbox's grand expansion efforts.

Warzone Mobile launched on March 21 and has generated around $1.4 million in its first four days on the market, new data from Pocket Gamer indicates.

That's a significant 67% reduction from its predecessor. Call of Duty Mobile, which released to a very different pre-COVID 19 market in October 2019, made $4.2 million in its first four days. Warzone Mobile made $2.8 million less than COD Mobile did in the same comparative period.

Not shocked, cause if your someone who plays normal Warzone and picked up Warzone Mobile, you already have all your cosmetics from current Warzone in the game. So why would you spend more money?

Call of Duty Mobile was Call of Duty arriving on mobile. Of course that's going to be the bigger splash. Call of Duty Warzone Mobile not matching that moment doesn't...seem like that big of a deal? Warzone Mobile is also straight up competing with Call of Duty Mobile, which is still getting support.

Like, even knowing absolutely nothing about it, I can basically guarantee that a theoretical new Diablo game released for mobile in a few years won't have a bigger launch than Diablo Immortal did. Does that mean that theoretical title is a "big miss"?
