Can't decide. One day I want ramen, another I want pho. Tom yum is a bit too spicy for my soup likings. The best pho though... Wow.

Tom kha gai for me I think, I'll put my vote under tom yum. There's a place nearby that has a really nice spicy coconut tamarind lime one.

And Tom Yum is pretty different, it's tangy and sour, it creates appetite, it's not a meal like ramen or pho.

I've had it with rice noodles and NO shrimps. Was delicious.

As someone living in Japan I'm biased as fuck but Japanese ramen all the way. The broth and multiple varieties of it elevates it above Vietnamese Pho imo (Vietnam rules the sandwich showdown though with Banh Mi).

I would have said ramen a few years back but it made me so fucking sick more than once that I don't really enjoy it much anymore. then I don't like tom yum at all tbh
