I am trying to get into comics all over again and wanted to pick up the Knightfall series. Can someone tell m whether the 3 OG Volumes are worth the extra asking price over 25th edition "recut" volumes?

I only ever read the 2 comic books from the Knightfall series and not in order and as such am looking for a the entire comprehensive package. Furthermore, the Omnibus collection is a touch out of my budget.

Why read comics when you can just watch Rising?

Original is usually what I go with cause recoloring

Yeah rereleases can tend to have recoloring for original intent. Off top of my head I know Killing Joke and Robocop v. Terminator had it, and it ruins a lot of the charms of the art I loved. I don't know if Knightfall has it, but worth looking into.

There are 3 recent omnibi covering the whole arc. If you want to read it in its entirety, then that's where I'd go.

Personally, I own the 3 massive TPBs, but skipped the omnibi. The story just isn't all that great. The first arc is the best.

I just placed the order for the 3 OG non omnibus paper backs (omnibus is too expensive for me atm).
