I'm very glad that he's running but let's not put candidates from the same party against others though, at least not yet.

Edit: Sigh... Come on people, I meant that it's better to focus on the issues, not just who had the best suit today.

Another thing, I love Bernie and I hope he wins.

Am I mistaken or do they not give a total for what Sanders has raised?

The article says Kamala raised 1.5 million in 24 hours from 38k donors, and Bernie raised 1.2 million in 3.5 hours from 42k donors.

Where's the rest of the figures?

And really, Bernie's camp is only announcing this because Kamala's camp claimed they beat his 2016 record.

She's the front runner though? I mean all the pols say that right? Right? I mean, CNN and MSNBC think so because of all the facts too.

Hmm I was banned several times on the old forum due to supporting Bernie during primaries as an outsider and I guess a mod there was a big Hillary supporter and didn't like it.

I wonder if it will be as polarizing here when your primaries happen? It would seem silly, the goal should just be to beat Trump and in the end you want the candidate who galvanizes the most people against Trump (aka the person who can steal people from him), not who you prefer.

If it is, I don't think I'll join the political discussions just incase.

This is in 4 hours. Wait until tomorrow and they'll most likely say the full amount.

I didn't donate to anyone during the last election cycle, but I'll probably donate to Bernie as long as he's still campaigning (and probably to the eventual nominee).

If Bernie somehow wins the primary, and he's running against Trump, I'll vote for him. I suspect he'll flame out, but to address something Tabris said, the number one complaint about Bernie was a small but loud number his supporters and worse, people pretending to be his supporters, loudly campaigning against Hillary all the way through the generals and spreading conspiracy trash.

I voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary and Hillary in the general. The only person I'd sit out for is if Gabbard got the nomination.

Ok, cool. I just wanted to make sure, because I was a huge Bernie guy, but those in my camp that voted against Hillary are the ones created Trump, and I was worried this same mentality was appearing, but against Bernie (IF he even becomes the nominee).

While I've never met any, I'm sure they exist as any take can find a crowd. I haven't seen any figures showing that an abnormal amount of Bernie primary voters abstained or voted for Trump, though.

Cool. He's still not gonna win though. Him and Warren will eat each others voters and I haven't seen him do anything at all to improve his standing in the south.

I'd love to see Kamala on a ticket but the coalition that's building against her seems too strong.

But he's not even a real Democrat! And without his tax returns, do we even know who we're really giving money to?? Nevermind that 2014 return, he could secretly be one of those multi-millionaires he's always railing against, just like Trump! I, for one, have seen some real fishy things between him and Russia, too. Did you know that he sat out some Russian sanctions vote? And he proudly calls himself a socialist, you know who else did that? Russia. Hmm, I dunno, seems suspect to trust this old Jewish guy. He could drop dead at any point!

2016 I supported him, he was treated with kid gloves , his ego inflated after he lost but won small battles

2020 I am not supporting him, he will not be treated with kid gloves, his ego is about to be shot down because he somehow thinks he is entitled to be the only deliverer or policies even if he loses the primary again

Warren, Biden, Beto, Harris, Gillibrand, Booker, Buttigieg are all going to railroad him into submission because in 2016 the kid gloves approach allowed him to put on one tape and rerun it for every answer even if unrelated. Now he is about to get demoralized

Fact of the matter is that Bernie in 2016 never faced aggressive attacks that are normal in a fist fight campaign , he is about to get one and I don't believe he is ready

This doesn't mean much at all in terms of votes.

So, are you going to sit out voting if he becomes the nominee like how some Bernie diehards did to Hillary in 2016?

Hillary had more Bernie diehards vote for her than Hillary diehards vote for Obama. This has been posted time and time again with stats to back it up. It's Hillary's cult that keeps trying to change the narrative cause Hillary can do no wrong.

Too bad he's a selfish asshole that wants the benefits of running as a Democrat, but none of the responsibilities.
