As the title suggests, there are great versions of classical music in games.
Most classical music is free of rights, so done well a great piece could be a great track on a video game.
I'm not taking of similarities or theft, I'm talking of clear examples of versions of a classical song.

An obvious example is the soundtrack of Eternal Sonata, with its great final boss track with the Revolutionary Etude from Chopin:

Another example I discovered years after playing the game is the track "Mysteries" is the aria "Vesti La Giubba" from the opera Pagliacci, from Leoncavallo.

I loved the use of In the Hall of the Mountain King in The Witness. Really fitting and exhilarating. I don't think it's an original rendition, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

The video doesn't give away the solutions to the puzzles by the way. They change on every run, so you can't memorize how to complete it. Though I would maybe not watch it if you haven't played the game at all.
