So is Destiny 3 gonna be like a Half Life 3 situation at this point? lol
Still though, I'm happy to have Destiny 2 in my library. Whenever I'm feeling like playing a FPS, it's always there, it's smooth, clean and perfect. Always gives me shit I can do, PVE or PVP. Whenever new shooters come out I'm like, but Destiny already satisfies that craving for me.
Except for DOOM. That stands on its own.

I dont think its realistic while maintaining and adding new expansions to d2. Maybe they get there eventually
They need an investor to work on D3. D2 is their only source of revenue at the moment and they can't drop it.
