uhh...*looks at 2080 super* fuck. I guess high RT is out of the question. Maybe I will just have to have reflections and nothing else.

As a 1060 6GB owner, I didn't think the game would be playable at high settings, even at 1080p. I wonder what the framerate for that would be.

with a 3070 and an OC 5820K, looks like I may need to turn down a thing or two, but otherwise be ok at 1440

My Ryzen 7 3800 looks safe, but I need to upgrade my 1070. Unfortunately, there won't be any new GPUs that I can buy for a while :(

In recognition of International Transgender Day of Remembrance, we've made the decision to lock all threads about Cyberpunk 2077 for today (November 20th) to raise awareness about the concerns related to the publisher and the game. Originally the plan was to close the OT on this date as it was the day after the game was due to release; there will still be an OT closure on the day after release to honor that commitment. However, with marketing for the game now in full swing, this is another way to draw attention to the issue. The threads will be reopened tomorrow.

To learn more about this issue please see this summary thread.

3080 just in time and the 9900k should max this game but I think it's still questionable at high frames

Looks like i should expect to play the game near Ultra 1080/60 with my i5 6600k and GTX 1070, though if i want to do any significant modding anytime soon (or use raytracing) those will have to be upgraded. Any recommendations on which I should upgrade first? I'm considering looking at the R5 5600 (non-X) and the RTX 3060, whenever those come out, though I'm not sure if I'm more held back by GPU or CPU at this point. For reference I have a 1080/144 monitor, though i may get a 1440/144 monitor in the next year or so.

2060 for 1440p?...I'm trying to get a 3080 but I wonder if my GTX 1070 will be able to handle 1440p

My 5700 XT is pleased, though I still wonder how exactly both next gen consoles will fare at launch before making a decision.

no framerate targets again.

i am highly doubtful these are "stable 60 fps" targets. But it would be a pleasent surprise.

As a reminder...

Only needing a 3600 bodes well for low spec gamers, that thing is cheap.

You can probably build a brand new PC that can run this at 1080p Ultra for about $1200.

What's the target framerate though?

Why does RT need ups the CPU requirement?

Witcher 3 gives me hope. It was very well optimized on PC upon release.

So with a i9 9900k @5.1ghz and an overclocked rog strix 2080ti I'm guessing I'd be somewhere between rt minimum and high?
