Sicario is easily his best film, but they're all super good.

I've seen Prisoners, Arrival, and 2049 and of those I'd say 2049 is my personal favorite even though they're all fantastic films.

I liked Prisoners, Blade Runner, and Enemy. I didn't realize they were all from the same director. I should watch the rest of his movies.

What's with all these random director best-films polls on the front page? Denis, QT, and Wright are all up right now.

BR2049 is probably my favorite movie, but I'm going to give Incendies my vote, cause it's a magnificent piece of work.

1. Blade Runner 2049
2. Incendies
3. Sicario
4. Prisoners
5. Arrival
6. Polytechnique
7. Enemy

I need to give Prisoners, Enemy and Arrival a rewatch though.

On one hand, Sicario is a masterwork of thriller cinema that uses context and consequence, rather than cheesy action setpieces. On the other hand, Arrival is a science fiction opus that illustrates its themes with its atmosphere, cinematography, and storytelling, paying off in a brilliant (albeit divisive) ending. Meanwhile, Blade Runner 2049 is simply one of – if not the – best sequel ever made, further expanding upon the themes of the original film, while still presenting its own stories and character arcs through tour de force storytelling. Ball-busting decision, but 2049 puts it over the top for me because Roger Deakins' cinematography is such an out-of-this-world experience.

Definitely Blade Runner 2049, which to me surpasses the original. At the very least, it enhances and expands upon it.

I'm feeling really good about the upcoming Dune though. What a cast.

I haven't seen Incendies or Prisoners yet but I voted 2049. Arrival and Enemy are amazing too though.

Damn all of his movies are so fucking good. I have to vote prisoners though. Blade runner 2049 a close second.

I haven't seen Incendies yet, so I can't vote, but I really love all his films. Arrival, Prisoners, and Blade Runner are my favorites so far. Prisoners is the best of what I've seen, I think.

It's between 2049, Enemy, and Incendies imo, but he hasn't made a film that isn't great.

I enjoyed Blade Runner the most, but Sicario is his best work. Even knowing I was watching a movie, the degree of edge of your seat suspense this film drilled straight into my core is unparalleled.

Blade Runner will dominate but it really shouldn't. People love Blade Runner and I enjoy it, but those movies got issues. Sicario is near perfect.

I'd put them all at the incredible level except for Enemy.

Voted for Blade Runner because he had to follow up a timeless classic and he (and the writer, actors, etc) absolutely nailed it.

I haven't watched Incendies yet. Need to fix that.

Blade Runner for me. Love all of them though.

2049 is probably just a bit better than Arrival which is just a bit better than Incendies. I imagine Incendies is the least watched here because it's his earliest (although pretty sure he had a film out before that one as well) and it's partial subs.

After Incendies there's a noticeable gap but Prisoners is still pretty great and then Sicario would be after that. I didn't care for Enemy much at all outside of how uneasy the entire thing was.

It's a tough call between 2049, Prisoners, and Sicario for me. Ultimately as much as I love 2049, Prisoners just stuck with me like no other film this decade. That ending is so haunting.
