There was a bit of conflicting information on this - the reviewer's tweets after embargo implied no, but the magazine itself said to expect a full review and score this issue.

Nah, not really. Edge just speaking the truth.

7 for SwSh feels right for what I've played. The Y-Comm has ended being a disappointment (The sticker system is confusing. I don't want a feed, I want to directly contact with other players), the game is pretty but lacking in the tech department and some new ideas are under developed (They have been too conservative with the wild area imo)

Basically, a par the course pokémon game. Still, in so far is the most fun pokémon game I've ever played. 42 hours and just reached the 7th badge. Also, killer soundtrack and best New pokémon designs and concepts since Kalos.

If they actually reviewed death stranding I am sure that would have dropped the average down, the reviewer sounded like he would give it a 2 or a 3 at most :)

Their scores for all but two games this issue (Planet Zoo and Superliminal) are below the OC and MC average. They're still pretty harsh in comparison - maybe the majority of these games are actually just good according to their reviewers?
