I am not even a big fan of the show this is spunoff from, but this is a harrowing tale of a poor young man suffering from PTSD who was abused and taken advantage of for years. I am on my second viewing. Watching this made me want to go back and rewatch the later seasons of the show Breaking Bad. It's actually tough to watch at times, even if you have little to no emotional investment in the characters.
Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. The star. Abused criminal on the run.
I feel like offering more cast members would be spoilerly, so I'll just leave it at that.
A way better movie than I was expecting.
