The new Nintendo Switch version of Xenoblade Chronicles has doubled the game's original sales on Wii.
Monolith Soft's Definitive Edition re-release of the game debuted in first place within this week's UK boxed game charts.
Sales were up on the Wii U's Xenoblade Chronicles X, but down slightly on fellow Switch release Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (launched during the busy 2017 Christmas sales season, and not during a pandemic). And as ever, these are physical sales only - digital downloads are not counted. It's likely many more people downloaded the Definitive Edition with shops shut.
