Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale hospitalized following reported suicide attempt | CNN Politics

President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Brad Parscale was hospitalized Sunday following reports of a suicide attempt at his Florida home, CNN has learned.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police Department Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw, Fort Lauderdale police officers responded to Parscale's residence "in reference to an armed male attempting suicide." Officers later identified him to CNN as Bradley Parscale and said his wife had called the police.

"When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the armed subject's wife, who advised her husband was armed and had access to multiple firearms inside the residence and was threatening to harm himself," Greenlaw told CNN in a statement. The officers determined the only person inside the home was the adult male.

Tried to get out of the impending shitstorm that is coming his way? I wonder how much tax fraud he is a part of.

Cant imagine the mental torture running Trumps election campaign must cause. Like you need to tie your brain in loops just to support him but to actively convince others to vote for him whilst arranging events that any sane person knows is going to lead to many people to die due to the ongoing pandemic must be highly stressful. I know he knew what he was getting into but still hope he gets help and recovers soon.

Hope whatever help he probably won't get makes him less racist/fascist.

Threads about the health/wellbeing of GOP allies tend to only go one way around here.

I hope he gets help. He probably got a lion's share of the blame after Trump's Tulsa disaster. I can't imagine having a windbag like Trump angry with you is good for your mental health.

Plus knowing how bitter and a bully Trump can and has been, I have to assume that there's been some sort of ongoing verbal abuse he's been getting.

Unfortunately, we probably will never know due to HIPPA. Though I hope Brad breaks away and has the courage to tell his story one day.

Oh jesus. I don't wish this sort of pain or depression on anyone. Hope he can get some help.

There are few people who have had meteoric rises and falls in political influence than Parscale.

While I feel sorry for anyone suffering like this (cretinous as they might be), I can't help but feel police being called to a suicidal man with a gun would have ended somewhat differently if he were black.
