Based first comment. Give me 60fps or give me death
BB has game logic tied to 30 FPS so quite possible, pretty sure DF made a video about itImagine every single First Party Game gets an FPS Patch besides Bloodborne lmao
God of War have a unlocked framerate mode right? so should run at 60 on ps5All I want from PS5 support is way faster load times and 60FPS.
playing god of war 2018 at 60 will be beautiful

Hold up....you make activity cards sound like its meh. What we'd love: 4K and 60FPS
What we get: activity card support

Sony said that the top 100 games would get enhancements on PS5. It'll probably be similar to what the Series X does with all of their BC titles.

There is no way all 4000+ PS4 games that the PS5 supports receive a patch. Pretty much all (but 7?) PS4 games already run on PS5. What these patches might be doing is unlocking frame rates/resolution or supporting Activities features. Probably it's just Activities related and nothing else.I don't think any PS4 game will run on the PS5 without an update.
Like, even if there's no technical adjustment but just to set a few hardware flags, or whatever (or add a few icons) the OS needs.
That's something that could even be automated by Sony for 'legacy' games 🤷♂️
Again, neither of these things were said. It's either "100 top games are BC with PS5" or "100 top games are enhanced on PS5." It's clear he meant enhanced if 99% of the games work.
If devs actually need to release patches to make PS4 games run on PS5 it would be very concerning. Surely this is more ''Optimized for PS5'' and not ''Support for PS5''.
That's fair. I re-read some stuff and you're right. Hope Sony catches up with MS someday on BC in some form then.

What i was trying to say is that i believe any game would just receive a title update - even if it's "auto generated" by Sony / PSN - that 'signs' (or whatever) the game to be a PS5 game. There is no way all 4000+ PS4 games that the PS5 supports receive a patch.
