I don't have a PS4, so if the game launches on Steam on Summer 2020 I'll play the game on Summer 2020. But if it's a one year EGS exclusive then I'll play it on Summer 2021.
Epic Launcher sucks and I regret buying Borderlands 3 on it (really wish I just bought it on PS4 and waited for the Steam version due to online) but I'd defo pick up Death Stranding on EGS.
In the case the game is good and the price is right, then yes. I'm going to suppose with the 'Hell Yeah' that both things are true in this hypothetical exercise.
The only way I'd get it on EGS is if they gave it away for free. EGS is the place for freebies, and that's about it. They don't bring anything else to the table, unless it's been swiped from elsewhere.
It was closed because there was no official announcement at the time, so now i made a thread again after the official announcement what's the big deal?
If the game ends up being good, yes. I've been kinda out of the loop with the Epic Games Store hate, tbh. I much prefer if everything was on Steam, but I'm not opposed to using other storefronts.
