I wasn't going to before the screen failure shenanigans. Too pricey for me to beta test the first gen product.

Even assuming it wasn't breaking down left and right, and it wasn't $2000, it's still ass ugly.

I had no plans to begin with - and I'm still not convinced the tech will ever get where it needs to be for something we use every day.

I was never going to spend 2000 on a phone. Never spent more than 250 on one, nor more than 400 on a tablet.

Even if the phone wasn't busted I don't have the desire to spend $2k on a phone.

I was never going to buy this, my plan has always been waiting to 2021-22 so the shortcoming can be adressed and then maybe, I like the idea behind it tho

Do I want a foldable phone? Sure.

Am I dumb enough to buy the first (or second, or third) iteration of folding display tech? Nah.

Give the tech another 3-4 years to mature and I might jump on.

They went the opposite way of what I wanted.

I want an iPhone X Max sized device that folds down into half it's size.

I was never buying the first gen to begin with. Give the tech a few years and yes I'll get one.

Where's the "Was never going to buy the 1st gen version" option?

I will never ever buy x phone new.

Helped me avoid a ton of issues AND avoid paying an arm and a leg for a new piece of tech.

I doubt anyone on Era was going to buy it in the first place other than people with a ton of income who regularly spend $2k on meals and wouldn't care if a new tech product broke within the first few days of ownership lol. Very very stupid to buy a first gen product when it is new tech like this.

I had no intention of jumping in with the first gen of this tech (from anyone) to begin with

For a moment I read the tittle wrong and I was like "Is Ford relaunching the Galaxy?"

EDIT: I was referring to the Galaxie, I didn't knew there was a Ford Galaxy already (maybe because I haven't seen any on the streets)

lol what is this thread? If this released at the price they suggested, it would've bombed.

No. I very much want a phone that can fold out into a tablet because that would be really nice(netflix on the go, art work, even writing assuming I get a decent portable keyboard) but I'm not crazy enough to spend $2000 on a first gen device. I can wait a few years for an iteration that has sorted out the kinks.

I wasn't anyway, always seemed like a bad idea and not something I'd want anyway. But after this, HELL no.
