I'm not surprised James would defend Chris, because they're obviously close friends off-camera and James is known for having incredibly tight relationships with his actors, but it still makes me sad.

Chris Pratt seems like a lot of his beliefs suck, but I'm not sure anything he's done rises to the level of being replaced in major Hollywood productions.

I think Gunn has a point that a lot of it is just shit that is spun up and spread (like that thread about him on here where people took exception to him praising his wife on Instagram)

All the shit Pratt gets attached to is mostly second hand, so he has a point, but I feel like it's pretty easy to connect the dots and get an idea of what Pratt believes. Gunn is historically pretty loyal to his friends though so this isn't surprising.
