So recently Disney job listings have been updated to include job listings for positions within a "Lucasfilm Games".

For those who do not know, Lucasfilm Games was the former name of the now defunct interactive entertainment branch of Lucasfilms, LucasArts.

It is unknown in what capacity would Lucasfilm Games would act, if they would develop in-house or, more likely, act as a licensor arm for Lucasfilm properties, similar to Marvel Games do for Marvel Entertainment properties.

Revoke my licence if old.

Taking cues from Marvel Games maybe? Hopefully they will start to license out the Star Wars IP to AAA devs that aren't EA like Marvel Games does

If they want to have an in-house mobile developer or something to manage their licensed out IPs, Lucasfilm Games isn't the worst name to go with

Probably something like Marvel games, which could mean no more EA exclusivity.

EDIT: Welp never mind lol
