With the latest big reveal for PS5, we now know the launch lineup, launch date, system price, game prices, and accessory prices. Heck, we even know what the back of the system looks like.

However we are still missing some very key information still. Info that really seems obvious this close to launch, when everyone is actually paying money for the system already.
We have no idea what the UI looks like. We don't know about quick switching between games, the limits of it, and how fast it switches. For all we know, the system will ship with a UI that is a feature bare bones as the switch.
With this last reveal, I was hoping to see someone walk into the room, sit on the couch, turn on the system, and boot up a game. We had lots of videos showing off how things would work prior to the PS4 launch. How is this acceptable?

That type of content will probably be on a blog post. If it were in yesterday's conference, people would have complained about it taking up time there instead of the quick fire games showing we got. It also makes sense to stretch information out a bit instead of dumping it all at once. We're still in a pandemic, people are working from home and things aren't moving as quickly as they would normally. You just need to be patient.

The mainstream public don't care about UI and showing it now isn't going to change anyone's mind on whether they're getting one. They'll show it at some point but games are the higher priority right now.
