Another Cyberpunk 2077 delay is rumored, with CD Projekt Red allegedly set to announce that the game will be delayed into 2021.

How trustworthy is this "insider" exactly? Take this with a huge grain of salt. I just hope it isn't true because I preordered it last week.

I have no idea. According to the article from Game Revolution, the leaker was right about Half Life Alex and E3 2020 being cancelled. Again, take it with a huge grain of salt.

They should have just delayed to an undisclosed date when it became clear they were far from ready the first time around. Still it's better to delay the game and put out a quality release, but at this point they're causing damage to the hype and faith in them as a developer. If they do delay, which I always think is the right choice, they should put out a proper set of info on what's left to improve/polish instead of just another yellow text on twitter

At this point, it just seems like every delay leads to even more crunch. The development needed to be given a more reasonable schedule much earlier in the process.
