I understand that a lot of heavy hitters opted to release on the first half of 2020. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel's Avengers, and Watch Dogs Legion are far away. But look at all these games releasing on September through November. This generation's last year-end will be nuts:

September
3 - Last Oasis
6 - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
9 - Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris
10 - Gears of War 5
10 - Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries
13 - Borderlands 3
13 - Grid
17 - Destiny 2: Shadowkeep
24 - The Surge 2
27 - FIFA 20
27 - Code Vein
TBD - Greedfall
TBD - Phoenix Point

October
4 - Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
25 - MediEvil
25 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
25 - The Outer Worlds

November
8 - Death Stranding
15 - Jedi: Fallen Order
15 - Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield
19 - Shenmue 3
22 - DOOM Eternal
TBD - Chernobylite

Q4 TBD
Age of Empires 2 Remake
The Settlers
Monster Hunter World: Iceborn (PC)
Trine 4
The Forgotten City
Concrete Genie
Football Manager 2020
Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars
Deliver Us The Moon

What are you planning on getting?

Pokemon and Death Stranding day 1.

The Outer Worlds, Star Wars and Medievil in the future.

Probably Animal Crossing Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, too.

Although I have silly hopes that AC could have a quick release and be out during this quarter. But Zelda is definitely Q4. Either way, I'm eating.

I'm getting every game on this list that isn't EGS exclusive/Destiny/Annual Sports, if I can. The rest can wait until they drop on Steam, except for maybe BL3 which I may purchase on Xbox instead

Nothing.

I need to save money for Dying Light 2, Bloodlines 2, The Last of Us 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.
Hoping for Black Friday deals on Star Wars or DOOM Eternal.

GreedFall should be my major game going into the second half of the year.

Breakpoint, The Outer Worlds, Jedi: Fallen Order, and Pokemon: Sword and Shield all look great, though.

Will play Gears 5 and The Outer Worlds through Game Pass. Most certainly getting Modern Warfare and Doom Eternal at launch. A lot of other interestings things in there but I think I'll wait on all of them: Fallen Order will be in EA Access eventually, same goes for FIFA 20, while games like Borderlands 3, Grid, The Surge 2, Code Vein, Ghost Recon, etc. are ones I'll consider once they start becoming cheaper.

Beautiful? As usual, the end of the year and beginning of next year are way too stacked.

I plan on getting 9 games out of those. But there is no way I am getting all of them day 1. Just going to wait for some of them to go on sale.

I only see Ghost Recon, Doom and Gears in this list. The rest don't interest me or won't be released on Steam before next year.

So... It's rather calm for me.

It's around march/april 2020 that the madness arrives.

Sept alone is going to kill me with Mh Worlds , BL3 and wanting to get back into Destiny 2. All games that require hours upon hours of looting. I'm screwed.

In terms of a launch purchase only Death Stranding and Grid stand out to me,I will probably get a couple more off that list but no rush.

So far only Pokemon but if Zelda, Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing are released at the end of this year, then them too.

MHW: Iceborne, Master Chief Collection PC, and Destiny 2: Shadowkeep are all I'm planning to pick up for now. The new Pokemon game is a maybe. Gonna need to read post-launch impressions before I commit.

Destiny, Outer Worlds, Pokemon and DOOM I'm day one. Star Wars we'll see reviews, probably get it once I have time. Interested in Borderlands 3 but I can barely get people online for Destiny so I'm not grabbing both right away. Death Stranding looks cool, but I think I'll wait on that one until I see some impressions.

Decent year, better than last year for sure. I'm in for: Shenmue 3, Zelda Link's Awakening, Death Stranding, Outer Worlds, Doom Eternal and potentially a few Nintendo titles like Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion 3.
