Not Elden Ring 'cause it's never coming out, just like GRRM's The Winds of Winter.

Haha, I'm so clever.

I don't have a list like yours, but I'm pretty hyped for The Medium that comes out at the end of this month.

And Ratchet and Clank PS5, but I think that'll be Summer now.

Ratchet and Clank, Kena, Final Fantasy XVI, and Horizon 2. Can't think of any other announced game atm.

Edit: Oh Yakuza 7 and Lego Star Wars

No day 1 buys for me, too many games still left on PS4 which I want to play and thus no plan for a next gen console in near future.

Will be on a look out for sales on -
Jedi: Fallen Order
Evil Within 2
A plague's tale
Outer Wilds
Cuphead
Night in the woods(for some reason, this game never goes on sale)

Not sure if I'm getting it day one, but I'm very excited for Returnal.
Getting Monster Hunter Rise day one, that'll be a good one.

Other than that, all the Sony stuff and Halo Infinite I guess? I feel like we don't actually know a lot about what third parties are up to this year so far, but first years for consoles are often pretty quiet and a lot of the impact of Covid on development will be more noticeable this year.

(Also this thread will probably get locked, list threads aren't allowed afaik)

Jedi Fallen Order, A Plagues Tale and Cuphead are all on sale just now btw.

FF XVI sitting alone in its throne:

Well, actually, a throne shared by Elden Ring as well, but I need to see something to get the juices flowing, can't live off of the CG trailer forever. When it gets shown though, oh boy.

And GoW is for sure up there too, but I don't think there's a way that one's coming next year. But tbh that's these three games, as I think they might have a bigger chance at being 2022 than 2021. If only one launches this year, I'll be happy.

Beyond that, really excited for Gotham Knights and RE: Village. I'm sure there's a ton more, but these are the ones that spring to mind without checking.

Oh, also looking forward to No More Heroes 3. I just replayed the first two last year when those Switch ports hit and those games are still incredibly fun, can't wait for the third.

All on Switch:

- Heaven's Vault
- Cyber Shadow
- Bravely Default 2
- Monster Hunter Rise
- No More Heroes 3
- Axiom Verge 2
- Sports Story
- Monster Hunter Stories 2
- Ys IX

There's plenty more I'd buy across the industry, but that's the main stuff on my radar until more 2021 announcements happen.

Hollow Knight: Silksong's release and Ashes of Creation updates will hold me over. I'll play Hades, Ori 2: Will O' the Boogaloo, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and ESO in the meantime.

Just off top of my head:

Elden Ring (lol)
God of War Ragnarok
Ratchet
Kena
Ghostwire Tokyo
Horizon FW
Returnal
FF16 (I don't normally do these, but surprisingly down for it)
Resi 8 (same as above)
Last of Us Factions (+ Part 2 patch pretty please!!)

Gonna be another staunch year. I'm fully stoked for what's coming. Can't wait.

Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, Resident Evil Village, Elden Ring, God of War: Ragnarok.

Waiting for PS5 patches/native for Cyberpunk 2077, Rocket League, Warzone, Witcher 3, Last of Us 2, Death Stranding, Doom Eternal, Subnautica, Wreckfest.

...and age of Empires 4 if it ever appears. I won't have a Windows PC, but I hope by the time it comes out I'll have a new mac laptop that can emulate windows or something.

Halo Infinite, FFXVI and Gran Turismo 7 for new launches.

The Last of Us 2, since they are likely planning a "remastered" version and I don't want to pay for the inferior version.

I've got a good backlog to get through so nothing in the next month or two.

The next game I will be grabbing though is the Mass Effect remaster. I've been tempted to play through the 360 versions on game pass but would rather wait.

Hogwarts Legacy

It's the only game I'm super pumped about this year. Cannot wait.

Can't think up a big overall list but key highlights for me are:

Hitman 3
Resident Evil 8
Nier 1 Remake
Elden Ring
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2
STALKER 2

Elden Ring (probably not even a 2021 game)
Monster Hunter Rise (waiting for the PC version because fuck the paywall for sub-par multiplayer on Switch)
BotW 2
Silksong

If I get a PS5 this year:
GT7
GoW Ragnarok
maybe Horizon 2 (replaying it's botched PC port kinda ruined the first one for me)

God of War Ragnarok
Halo Infinite
Battlefield Next Gen
Resident Evil Village

And bits and bobs around that I'm sure. Plus the stuff I've clearly forgotten are coming next year.
