For me, it's a no since its lifetime is almost over and I still have to save for the PS5.

This is actually a very weird time to release a custom PS4 but I guess there's a tradition to uphold.

I don't think they're planning on shipping a lot of these.

It's something nice for the superfans. I'm surprised we didn't get a limited edition console for FFVIIR, though maybe the covid-19 outbreak is to blame there.

Sony is really milking the prices for PS4 this generation as much as possible. I would assume they will slow/dump stock a little closer to PS5 launch. Hopefully that $399 becomes $299 for the holidays.

My launch PS4 just took its final breath and I am debating it. Was planning on moving my PS4 into my office after PS5 arrived so maybe.
Need Sony to clarify how BC on PS5 will work to know for sure
