So The Last of Us Part II was delayed to due logistics surrounding Covid-19 (physical release, poor economy, etc) but the game is nearly done.
While it sucks that we won't be able to play the game in May, this could lead to a scenario where the game launches with the PS5.
As of now, both consoles seem like they will most likely make launch in Holiday 2020 (this could always change). We should be at the end or near the end of the pandemic by the start of the Fall season, which would mean things start to open up again.
If this happens, we could see a launch lineup for both consoles including Halo, Forza, The Last of Us, (maybe) Ghosts of Tsushima and more. The delay could be a blessing in disguise as we might have the best launch lineup in console history, which is an exciting thing to look forward to during a depressing time.
