That's dumb though. It's slow as hell and makes something that would take 1 second take a minute.

Too comfy in bed to check but can you try a ctrl/ctrl+shift+click shortcut on the first and last photos on pc? Probably something.

You can select all by monthly categories they are grouped by, by default, or hold and drag as someone pointed out.

which is fine if i don't want to select the whole folder of about 4 years of stuff. don't know why people are acting like any of this is a good idea. they let you multi-select small groups just give me an option at the top to select all. it's a basic function of a gallery. it's literally one of the worst design choices someone could possibly make.
