Since Epic Store launched Tim is trying to push narrative how Epic created multi-store world. And every few months he is posting tweets like this









And that is not true and never was true. PC lives in multi-store world for years. EA games were on Origin 10 years ago, GOG started selling newer games years ago, 3rd party key sellers are also stores...

Those tweets are just some of the examples. And in case of latest ones you could see how he tries to promote UE4 while congratulating EA and Valve and how he promotes Fortnite and Stormtrooper skin.

Agreed that it's annoying how Sweeney is taking credit for something that has been happening for years with key resellers and publishers like EA and Ubisoft making their own launchers.

There is time and place to promote your products but for example mentioning UE4 while congratulating Valve and EA is not right time or place.

Jedi Fallen order would have been #1 on Twitch and it would have been on Origin, Steam, Xbox, Playstation (and more) if Epic Store didn't exist and if Tim Sweeney didn't exist. Epic has nothing to do with anything and this is a blatantly crass, undeserved self promotion.
