I can't imagine that recent "expose" on her was doing any favors for her mental health. I hope she can get some help.

I thought she got perma'd a few years ago? On one hand, I'm glad they gave her another shot... on the other... :(
It must have been a different Twitch account than the one that was banned, but now I'm very confused... Hmm.
She was banned for years but she just returned march 19, 2022. Apparently now she accidentally showed some nudity while trying to play chess (nudity in ads)
She streamed porn.
I use to follow her but her streaming career has done a detriment to her mental health because of the countless trolls that would flood her chat who she would then argue with endlessly. She's been very open about her drug use and suicidality in her streams. Problem is that her openness hasn't done her any favors.

She transitioned to Narcissa, so that's the only appropriate name to use.
Cosmo was her real legal name. I believe her parents were hippies.
She was in really rough shape at the time of her ban. She basically deteriorated into "IDGAF" mode.
It's all good! This shit happens sometimes, so as long as you're aware of it moving forward, it ain't no thing in my opinion. You'd never believe how harsh some people can get when you just simply suggest a correction like that, haha.
Polygon had two articles about her shortly around the time she got banned from twitch. 6 years ago. Wow. I had thought of her every once and awhile had hoped she was doing better.

I remember having my first red flag with her when she tweeted some problematic opinion about something but I don't remember what it was, it was some years ago, not that long after she stopped making Ocarina of Time speedruns.

Was she having mental health issues due to the abuse once she transitioned? I don't know of her but just read her wiki.
Its been years so I might be wrong, but I used to watch her streams a lot. I first saw her at a GDQ probably. She was already in a rough spot dealing with financial problems before transitioning, and then after her viewership bottomed out and the harassment started. At the same time she started developing terrible hand pain due to how you have to speed run wind waker so throw chronic pain into the mix. It was a bunch of real bad stuff that hit all at once. Then her streams turned into just her sleeping, her saying controversial things, then the ban. The last few streams were really hard to watch. I remember chat pleading with her to get help, while the other half of chat threw abuse at her. And twitch never did a damn thing.
I believe her mental health issues were seperate from the abuse. She had hand and wrist issues which meant she couldn't continue speedrunning so her popularity dropped. She was banned from Twitch and started streaming on YouTube. Not sure how she's doing now.
That's an alarming tweet and should be taken seriously. Officials should get involved for the safety of the employees who don't even have anything to do with this.

anyway her twitter account is not deactivated now. the tweet's gone and she's tweeting other stuff. apparently she wants to get permission to read harry potter books on twitch as a sort of virtual book club? which is a whole other barrel of stuff I'm not going to touch.
She got banned years ago for nudity and going against those rules over and over again, came back and got banned AGAIN for streaming hentai??? Wtf...
Ugh I don't even want to think about what some sort of "expose" would be. I've seen way too much stuff dogpile on mentally ill people, but it is "justified" because the mentally ill person hurt some people, or just acts weird enough that normal people will dislike them based on information provided in the article.
Not saying that abuse or assholish behavior shouldn't be taken seriously if it's from someone who is suffering, but if they're not abusing a position of power keep that shit out of the press.
I was just remembering Narcissa the other day and wondering if she ever turned out okay and this is devastating to hear. I have always been hoping, and will continue to hope that she'll be safe.
I understand that reading those words is alarming but anyone with the slightest knowledge of the person behind those words should know that "shooting up Twitch HQ" is just an emotional lashing out and this visibility on her is helpful to absolutely nobody. Made the mistake of looking at replies to that tweet and I want to throw up. I wish she could be left alone, leave her internet presence behind and heal. She's just another tragic case of a vulnerable internet personality being driven into worse and worse places by the hateful mob thats treating her like a game.
