he is a hero so he is required to help, but what was the catalyst. in raimi's trilogy it was uncle ben. in iron man it was because tony stark learns and regrets his role in the industrial arms market, cap doesn't like bullies, and thor learns to put himself before the people to be a better leader. what is mcu spidey's? he just kind of is already a hero. he just helps. it is never really explored or is a big part of who he is. it kind of sucks they decided to skip the basics of an "origin" story but they could at least explore why he is the way he is. even miles got that and spider-verse is really great because of it.
