For the sake of discussion, this theoretical individual is indisputably the worst/most dangerous, both by your standards and those of the vast majority on the planet.
Pretend this punishment is a one-off—you don't need to worry about it becoming a regular punishment that inevitably gets used on someone innocent/undeserving. And you're not limited by modern technology or reality—a genie lets you wish a punishment into existence or some shit—but specify which aspect of reality would need to be different if you go this route (e.g. would need warp technology to do xyz).
what would it be? Would it be restorative? Would it be a single act, or something that goes on and on? Any ripple effects or would it be relatively isolated?
I remember discussing on the old forum the terrible notion of chemically disabling someone's ability to feel happiness or pleasure, like, blocking dopamine receptors. There'd be no use for that as a practical, restorative punishment, but for this theoretical/not real terrible, dangerous person? Why not. It would of course accompany being locked up, and receiving phone calls from anyone they hurt/wronged day in and day out
