For weeks now, theres been a plea to not spoil Avengers Endgame with people getting blasted if they did it on social media.

Tonight, on social media, Game of Thrones was being spoiled in real time. People couldn't wait to spoil it.

What's the difference and why is one acceptable while the other is not?

Isn't the time commitment for GoT even longer and therefore shouldn't it be worse to spoil the show?

spoil if old.

Because one is an attraction you have to wait to get on board if its not already sold out in your area.

The other is being live broadcast for consumption as long as you have access to it. Its like reacting to a sports game in real time.

It annoys me the spoilers tend to come from Americans. Like damn, just woke up and I know who's dead already. Haven't even had the time to watch it

Most people watched GOT from home as it aired
Endgame opened last tuesday night in some of the world, but other days in the rest of the world, also there were huge leaks. Also you need to get a seat in a theatre to see it. And the time.
