I mean she's always going like... worked up a good sweat, or I'd kill for a shower. Without anyone asking. I think she's over compensating by preemptively apologizing for a potential smell.
Or maybe she thinks she might smell but doesn't really since no one really says anything about it. But, again, that's not really the kind of thing you bring up...
Another thing is that she sometimes says "I'll be ok" without anyone asking, and that's the kind of thing that like... if you say it and nobody asks you're probably lying, which adds to the conspiracy.
