pretty much everything by dom is based on his metric "game score"
Its like a composite of scoring/possession/etc, similar to WAR. I think it values offensive talent much more than defensive talent though.

Rumor is that Zetterberg is done. Wings will put him in LTIR at the start of the season, but he's effectively retired.
Game score is a pretty simplified metric Dom's been using for a while. It's a formula that assigns different weights to goals, assists, Corsi +/-, penalty differential (drawn vs taken), on ice goals for, on ice goals against, shot blocks, faceoff +/-, and I think time on ice. Puts it all into one simple number for each game.
Not super deep but a decent summary of performance.
