Has the idiot in chief twittered about this yet? How many tweets will he use to just respond to this. Surprised that Fox is actually reporting this too. Bad look Donny. Bad look.

Not a surprise, but when the US has interfered with over 80 elections in other countries over the years, can we really be upset?

You forgot to use the words, "You think we're so innocent?"

This kind of equivocation doesn't come off like you're thinking critically, you're just pushing the same narrative as the guy who probably cheated to win the presidency.

I can't wait for Sarah Sanders to read some long drawn out reason for why they will not be addressing this topic at the next presser.

the outrage towards russia is misplaced in my opinion. They manipulated the people but not falsify or break the voting system (as far as i know). People did actually vote for Trump, even if it was a terrible choice. If half of the voters are easy enough to fool to vote against their interests, you are having a problem. The system is apparently too fragile and needs fixing. For example making piliticians responsible for their actions and better education for everyone. Dont count on Putin (or Xi, or whoever) beeing a nice fellow. Your problem is internal, not external.

"I'll refer you to the outside counsel, but the Democrats need to stop playing political games and actually do their jobs if they want a fair election".

Most Americans realize that we are at a time of significal sociocultural conflict and dialog on the future of the nation, culturally, politically, socially, everything from education to government. There is a great deal of anxiety over it and although it looks messy and we are having a lot of conflict, it's a necessary conversation due to some of the outdated/flawed aspects of our society.

This is a false binary, or the hobgoblin of small minds, I'm not exactly sure which.

Why can't we be upset at our own fragility, while also being upset at an autocratic petro-tyrant of a perpetually failed nation causing havoc?

User banned (2 days): history of concern trolling and political drive-bys, account still in the junior phase
So what actual evidence have they got that proves that Putin was behind it?

The comments on that Fox News article are something else. They just can't accept it, it's all deflection to meaningless shit. I'm rolling hahaha

Some choice quotes:
They faked the moon landing, so this must be fake too.

Did Russia influence how YOU voted in the 2016 Presidential election? Funny how liberals won't answer that ....

isnt it strange, on the day roy moore lost we never heard from outraged liberals and their concern for the victims ever again..why is that?

So, did they throw trump a bone and add in a line along the lines of... "while Russia's interference in the Election is not in question, there is no evidence of collusion by the Trump campaign"?

To address a point made on the first page, Trump's assertion very little was spent on his campaign is a fabrication. Dark money is completely unaccountable, the NRA doesn't even publicly release their donor list, we've only just now started peeling away the layers of Cambridge Analytica, Cohen was a revolving ATM for foreign influencers and porn stars completely off the books, and Paul Manafort alone was paid tens of millions of dollars to push a Russia-friendly agenda domestically.

Trump won't even address this. The media will have to press the WH, Ryan, McConnell, Nunes, and Gowdy to make a statement.

Not a surprise, but when the US has interfered with over 80 elections in other countries over the years, can we really be upset?

"Murders happen every day, are we really going to waste the resources to prosecute this one?"

The interference goes well beyond social media shenanigans. Hacking the DNC, hacking Hillary Clinton, bribing campaign officials to change RNC policy (including, but not limited to, Crimea, Russian sanctions, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Palestine, and North Korea), compromising national security and spycraft by having members of our own government attempting to expose our own agents taking part in the investigation, flooding our political system with untraceable money and unregistered foreign agents, fanning the flames of partisanship and nationalism, destabilizing the EU, NAFTA, and the WTO, and weakening the US on the world stage.

It's not "derp derp Pepe memes", the same people pushed for Brexit as well because they have designs on reshaping the Western world for their financial gain. A compromised American president/government is the single greatest threat to our nation since WW2.

This won't hapoen but I don't understand why. Brexit campaign just got found guilty of breaking election rules but nothing of substance will happen even though the result was a narrow win and it is hugely impactful

Surely anything that can be shown to have a material impact in an election outcome should at least have the potential to trigger a new election

The Brexit problem is even worse than this, because they're going on and on about how it was the will of the people and no matter what they have to lead our country out of the EU and off a cliff and it was all based on lies. Politicians are so unbelievably dumb. I can't think of a single honest, good, sensible, intelligent person in politics at all and it pains me to say it.

Indeed, Russia is actively trying to weaken the rest of the world by causing political strife. It's absolutely working in America making us even more partisan then we already were. Even with this site being fairly liberal I feel since it's inception it's already gotten more left leaning in just a short period. I imagine a more conservative site has had an equal and opposite affect on them, hardening their group mentality to be even more right/pro-trump despite his terrible actions.

In this case the internal and external are connected due to our fake president's intimate relationships with Russia. Also, Russia did hack into U.S. voter systems, so it is a real threat beyond just fooling fools with propaganda.

So what's our government doing to ensure that this won't happen again this November?
Letting Trump meet with Putin privately without any handlers or aides.

They are doing nothing bc the Russians are on their side for now. It's pathetic and shows just how craven the GOP is.

I hope this is compelling evidence that Trump shouldn't be allowed Supreme Court picks, at the very very least.

That's dumb. Campaign groups have to be registered and monitored in the US. You absolutely should be outraged at the country that marshalled all its intelligence resources to flood media outlets with misinformation to sway an election in a desired direction.
