Shit's annoying, yo.

Tried getting into Westworld this past season thinking it'd be something that'd tie me over until Winter comes next year.

Nah.

The only thing WW succeeded in doing was making me miss GoT even more.

This show just fills such a unique space in terms of characters and lore that I'm starting to have withdrawals. I can't believe I have to still wait another freaking year for the conclusion of this shit.

Anyone else getting anxious?

Me too.

Also for the first time since Sopranos started, I don't have a Sunday night show to watch. It's weird.

I dreamed I saw S8 last night. It was shite. At least Jaime killed Cersei which was good.
The season ignored white walkers until the last episode, where there was one battle to settle everything after 5 filler episodes.

Despite thinking it steadily goes downhill from season 4 onwards, i agree. I miss that world.

I'm not really excited for the new season tbh. Wish the time where fighting over the throne and politics were the prevalent theme in the show and anything could happen.
I miss Game of Thrones seasons 1-3 levels of quality.
4 as well. 5 was shit, 6 was was decent while 7 turned into a long action movie with plot holes everywhere.

I miss seasons 1 to 4

It's taken such a nosedive for me. From one of my absolute favorite shows to I-don't-actually-care-anymore-just-watching-to-get-closure.

I feel yah, but this wait will be good for us and hopefully them. Hopefully the extra year gives them more time to trim things and make that best TV CGI even prettier.

I'm glad it's ending soon, it's the one show that I don't want to drag on forever so it ending next season will be perfect.

Watch Norsemen on Netflix. It's practically the same thing.

I'm able to wait as I rarely get excited about anything anymore.

I love the show but there is plenty of other media to enjoy.

What happened to those new blu rays with the white covers? Did those come out?

I miss it too. Considering a full rewatch for the 4th time lol.

My favorite show currently active with BCS a close second.

Hopefully we will get some details for the final season at comic con

If we're really lucky, the white walkers stuff will be wrapped up by halfway through the season and the last 2-3 episodes will be all about the survivors vying for power.

We're not going to be that lucky though.

Have you read the books? Listen to some podcasts? Argue on the internet about it?

Top recommendation old chap.
I started reading the first book right after Season 7 ended, and it's admittedly great, but I eventually put it down due to wanting to focus on more non-fiction stuff, which has always been my priority.

All I need to galvanize enough zeal to finish it is a trailer or something.

Series has it flaws, but it is still my favourite show. The ambition is incredible and it is literally the show I've wanted since I was in my late teens.

It is so fantastic that tv has stepped up where films have fallen painfully flat.

Long may it continue.

I stopped by watching it after season 6 because I would rather see it play out in written form in 20 years. So I have no idea what you are feeling. Westworld is okay.

Oh, and season 4 was the best.

I miss it because I want the travesty to be over with. Without Martin's plotlines, the show is in a freefall. If it wasn't for great character and pre arranged setups, the show would likely completely fall apart. TBH I am still expecting the next season to be a shitshow as they try to ram multiple books into 7 episodes.

S4 is objectively good TV but as a fan of the books it makes my blood boil.

Not feeling anxious at all since I never liked it. Too much exploitation of women, boring family soap drama, and mediocre action for me.

Yep me too. :(
I loved all the seasons with season 5 slightly lacking. I think I'm gonna watch them all over again thx to this thread.

I'd probably like the show more if it stopped trying to force Cersei.

Lena Headey's a great actress but there is such a thing as overuse.

It reminds me of what the show did with Ramsay by turning him into this major villain that the entire northern plotline revolves around.

I'm not anxious, but I do miss it. I should rewatch the whole thing once the last season draws near.
