Anyone play DropMix (board game) before?

It is wonderful but it is much more fun as a toy to dick around with and make remixes than as a "game".

I bought it just to mess around with remixes. The cards are both expensive and hard to find, and I get the feeling the game is basically done.

Bought it during the Toys R Us closing sale.

Regretted it once I realized that there was no normal way to connect it to a TV unless you used a Chromecast or Apple TV. Now it's just been sitting there unused.

Personally, it's really cool (I also tried it since I wanted to have that Pyre card for sure) but I don't know enough music for it to be worth it for me.

It's a pretty cool toy but the game is kinda weak. I bought it so I could use it in my popular music class when we talk about sampling. Really interesting idea but the kit is just too expensive at MSRP.

Game is fantastic and I love the idea of it, but to get the basic game you pay a lot of money. Even at clearance it's still too much considering how much you gotta pay if you want the expansion packs.

Eh, they just were saying during E3 that they were getting ready to release the packs for Season 02 or something.

I guess... but they went from having retailer exclusive packs to one retailer dropping it and the other retailer going out of business, so who knows.

I own it an all the cards. (Except for the fucking Transformers promo) I brought it out to the family Thanksgiving and Xmas gatherings. Everyone that sat down with it liked it and were impressed how it works. But in reality, it's more of a toy than a competitive game. An expensive one at that. They did a bad job of marketing it.

I have the entire collection for it. It's really fun to mess around with and show off to people. I wish the game mode was more interesting, but I understand why they kept it simple. The party mode can be fun. I don't regret the money I've spent on it, and think $30 for the base game is a steal.

I got it when it went down to $50, and we like it a lot. But its way more fun to just mess around rather than play the game.

I got the board and a ton of card packs on clearance really cheap. I never played the actual game, but like others have said, it's fun to mess around with.

Damn, missed out on this. Had been waiting for it to dip down to around there again. Hopefully there's another sale on Prime Day or something.
