There was another article I was reading that said Ant Man and Captain Marvel were going to explore the Quantum Realm. I wonder if that'll be something used to defeat Thanos, or perhaps where the Soul Stone is.
Thanos simply undoing it with the Gauntlet, dude just has to think of something and that's it. We are talking max levels of OP here.

The thread title is actually fake news. It doesn't even actually match the quote in the OP.
He did not say that A4 would rely on those characters or movies. He said that they are relying on those movies to tell the story between A3 and A4 which... obviously makes sense.

Ant-Man is one of the best Marvel movies. I agree with IM3 being one of the worst though.
She can beat Trump in a fist fight, but not Biden.
Nope not even close. When she becomes Binary she becomes invulnerable for a short period of time. But regularly she doesn't come close to Superman.
However to make her go binary requires an exorbant amount of energy. The only person able to do it without breaking a sweat is Blue Marvel.
Comics Thor and Hulk could beat the shit out of her.

Ant-Man is one of the best Marvel movies. I agree with IM3 being one of the worst though.
Ant-Man is the perfect palette cleanser after Ultron. And it keeps getting better over time.
Ya'll are sleeping on Captain Marvel. I assume it's mostly die hard CB fans who, despite seeing all of the MCU's smart decisions in taking the best of characters and comic runs and condensing it down to the best and cutting the crap, still think they'll screw it up. Nope, throw out their entire track record, THIS is where it derails the MCU train. Unbelievable. Carol going to come in and shut up all the haters, mark my words
That would depend on how much they nerf Thanos. Let's be real, even with the gauntlet on there's no way they're going to make him as powerful as he was in the comics.
"With the snap of his fingers" even Gamora said it. He's that powerful with the glove.
I think they totally will neuter Thanos its what they always do. No way he gets to kill a bunch of heroes. If someone is quitting the MCU they're going to do the I am out to live happily ever after thing cause disney wants to keep the option to get them back at a later point.
I'm like 90% sure Thanos wins and most to all the Avengers die. Then

Is it even that IM3 is one of the worst movies on it's own? I feel that it's just so tonally different from everything else that it kinda sticks out.
Side-note: they should get Shane Black to write/direct a DCEU standalone movie. Maybe a Deathstroke movie?

I dunno, can't Dr Strange stop time and just murderize him? There's plenty of very contrived things.
I mean that one is actually explained in the movie, he didn't have the Time Stone on him during the whole fight, hiding it away from Thanos. His amulet was a fake/empty one.
Had they used it they might have been able to stop him without holding him down, but them not using it also makes perfect sense given it's the very thing he wants.
