Fiji tastes like tap. Dasani tastes like tap. Pretty much everything tastes disgusting except distilled water, vitamin water and aquafina. Actually looked at a bottle of vitamin water and it's distilled water so that explains why I like it. Haven't bought aquafina in a while so I'm not sure if it's distilled as well I just remember it not having a taste. I really dont understand how people tolerate water with a tap taste when there's a super refreshing alternative that's only 99 cents a jug (gallons of distilled water from anywhere).

Places
I created a thread once at the old place on tap water and got some insane replies. People here are so against bottled water that it's strange.

Fiji has a good flavor. The sparkling version of smart water is decent as well.

Some people are so adamantly against it for environmental reasons to the end they insist that tap water doesn't vary in hardness. Very myopic and emotional. You can acknowledge the reality of water quality and buy a reverse osmosis tank and avoid bottles, or even acknowledge that bottles have their purpose like for example avoiding the shits when visiting central and south america.

It's not strange to be against heavy pollution (in many more ways than just plastic) caused by corporations abusing gullible consumers.

It's literally water. Get a fucking filter. Unless you're traveling or something is fucked up with your water, don't do it.

This is my jam. The sparkling version, to be specific. The carbonation is different than any other sparkling water that I've tried. It's like the bubbles are.. bigger? At least it feels that way when I drink it. I like to mix it with lemonade or grapefruit juice as an alternative to soda.

For still water I pretty much stick with tap. Los Angeles' tap water game is pretty strong.

I drink the filtered water from the fridge. I've basically stopped buying bottled water AND straws. Too much waste.

Fiji is more expensive? That's interesting. Where I am Fiji is way cheaper than voss.

Anyways, Voss is my favorite, just wish it was cheaper. Fiji is my second best though. Smart water is okay but I feel like I can taste whatever process they use so I'm usually less inclined to drink it. It is my wife's favorite though.

Worst is aquafina. Absolutely disgusting.

EDIT: Oh shit. I forgot about the absolute best water on the planet. Icelandic Glacial. It's so good.

All water def isn't equal. Tell that to Flint residents.

Go look up PH testing on YouTube of all the water brands

Drinking Voss right now and it isn't the same at all, albeit a bit less expensive than Fiji. The difference is Fiji is really really good and I don't find any other water all that appealing anymore... Don't say Arrowhead!

I don't know what it is about Fiji water, but it has a mouthfeel that is unparalleled in my experience. That said I think bottled water (and especially 'premium' water like Fiji) is a waste of my money and harmful to the environment (more plastic). Lately I've been all about that Cherry Bubbly:

Taste's just like a Cherry Coke with zero sugar. Normally I hate Cherry Coke, but it's fantastic without any sugar!

If you're in a spot where your water is bad, spend a few hundred dollars on a reverse osmosis system.

Stop wasting plastic, people are the worst. Why buy a water bottle, when tap water is the best.

I've never understood buying water, but then again I don't live in a third world country like the US.

I just use a pur filter pitcher for my water in a refillable bottle. If I have to grab a bottled water I like Ice Mountain.

Everyone who buys expensive bottled water is a complete fucking tool. Sorry, it's true.

Funny thing is, if you are buying plastic bottles, that water is most of the time of lesser quality than tap water.

I love my refrigerator-filtered water. It tastes better than the bottled water I buy when I'm out.

How's the filter going to help if im not at home. What if I want water while out or on trips in the car? Yea I'm not always going to carry a portable water bottle or filter.

I have a filter and use it but will buy bottles of water when I want it.

I've read this. It sucks and is awful. But a very small minority has nothing to do with this thread (and it isn't a normal, common occurrence like you think it is), nor does it have to do with the irresponsibilities of what drinking bottled water entails when you have other, for more responsible sources. Like I said earlier, bottle water should only be used when traveling or if your water sucks.

And the people in this thread more than likely aren't in this situation that article states, so there is no reason to drink bottled water. It's irresponsible.

People saying water=water don't live in an area with rock hard water. It is nasty.

Two towns over and they get Lake Michigan water which tastes wonderful.

Tap. Not paying for water. Not meant to be derogatory to those that live in areas with not so clean drinking water.

Carrying around a reusable bottle of water is like, the easiest thing to do. Especially in trips in the car.
