Sure, that makes total sense to me, but is there any documentation as to WHY these people were dancing in their own words? I mean, someone has to have asked one of them after the fact or something, right?

I'm guessing that's the closest we'll get to a first hand account, chroniclers at the time rarely transcribed interviews like reporters of today.

Huh, thanks for quoting that. I guess to me that still doesn't explain the aspect of so many people joining in in certain circumstances, but I suppose it was a very, very different time.
