That one President has completely destroyed any goodwill that the Republican party had/might have had from others. They've become an absolute joke. And it's not just Trump that caused it, but some of the actions like nominating a known alt-right to be in charge of a leadership position in a state along with other things, again, completely destroy the small amount of goodwill that was there.
Republican party (and Trump by extension) for decades has implemented direct policies racial/sexist/homophobic/anti-99% in nature that impacts people's everyday lives and the future of the US in the negative aspect.

It has no bearing. Republicans as a party are racist because they continue to support people who implement racist policies. No one voted for this painter. They hold no office. Whatever other art they choose to make has nothing to do with racist policies or the people who support them.
