I'd prefer Bloodborne 2 but if not I'd happily take a Bloodborne remaster

Bloodborne 2 would be amazing. But only if it's set in the same Yarnam again. I loved the atmosphere.

You know what's funny is someone at Sony furiously taking notes. Not long from now they're commissioning feasibility studies and running focus groups on optimal years from release to remaster. Next thing you know GaaS is old news and we're buying the same game 2-3 times per generation.

Then things really start to go wrong.

I get it, tbh. I felt the same about Grand Theft Auto V, if I'm being honest. (That's why I bought the game three times...)
Plus, it's not like Bloodborne is a game we can expect to have PS5 enhancements, even if PS5 has meaningful backward compatibility (and it will). FROM don't give a fuck, the framepacing is still broken.

I wish I could just say, "don't ask to pay for the game again when you can just use the same copy you already own next gen", but nothing is written in stone yet.

If those notes were ever being taken, it was almost certainly a year or two ago when publishers were having devs fart out lame remasters that compared unfavorably to versions of the same game that debuted almost a decade ago on PC, and people were defending them. I still can't believe games like Dishonored, BioShock, and Batman: Arkham had such shoddy remasters.

God of War (2018) is one of the best ever, but I'm hoping it gets a remaster before the end of 2018. If not, then a patch would be cool.

I hope sequels are never made, I'd rather original content set in the same universe.

On pro boost mode it's not that bad. Playing it right now, 15 or 20 hours in. My memories of it on regular ps4 back in the day are of much worse performance
