How many more times will this be uttered as MP continues to move the goal posts before the end?

When you compare MP to the current competitors it would still take a lot more fees and restrictions to even be at the same level.

You can currently get about $150 more for your buck with MP over A List.

Your taste (or availability) have to be very narrow for A List to be better over MP.

Indeed. Until I stop breaking coming out 60% ahead of the game by watching a single movie, MoviePass will remain a ridiculously good deal.

To me it is. Any movie that has Dolby as an option I choose it every time. Even for movies that might not seem like it would improve much I still go for it.

It's not just the visuals but the sound quality as well. I saw Get Out in Dolby and the Dolby Atmos sound really added to the experience.

Guess I'll have to check it out sometime!

The stock is currently at 19 cents with a market cap of $43m, and only that high because they have released over 180m shares into the market over the past 30 days to desperately fund continuing operations. They are asking shareholders to vote in 2 weeks to let them release an addition 2 BILLION shares to keep funding this insane Robin Hood scheme, meanwhile the stock is dropping 8-15% every day. Its only a matter of time they run out of options to keep basically taking money from Wall Street and handing it over to theaters by way of consumers like us watching a movie.

So yeah, this surge stuff is great but its far too little, too late, and still doesn't fundamentally fix the problem of the second a customer buys a ticket MoviePass is losing money on that customer.

AMC Univeral City Walk is one of, if not the, best imax in the country.

Universal AMC is not in Los Angeles, it's in Universal City. It might be close to you but it's far for me. From the one time I went there, it's also not very good. I saw John Carter in IMAX 3D and the picture was very dark, so I never went back.

Cinemark 18 had a real IMAX screen for the longest time, but I see it was replaced by Cinemark XD.

Lol - no one in LA uses the LA city limits for what is in LA...

Sorry you had a bad experience 6 years ago. It is a really good imax.
