It's lack of popularity makes no sense.

The mc early on is a limp dick "white" boy who has to be saved by a tough minority female and a black man. Clearly it's an sjw show which is why American's hate it. Characters aren't allowed to have arcs they need to be perfect bad asses from episode 1.

While I'm being sarcastic, you know there are people who actually think like this. And yes I know rock is Japanese.

It's got everything America loves. Hot deadly women, big fucking guns, big fucking explosions and lots of fucking cursing.

Bruh Rock is Japanese, fully Japanese too. Revy is Chinese American.

If I were to guess, I'd say that most of the people who would be really into it have probably never touched an anime in their lives.

I wouldn't categorize myself as an anime fan specifically, more of a hunter of peace chasing the elusive mayfly known as love.

Parts Unknown
Don't mind me, I'm just eternally chasing the feelings I felt back when I first saw DBZ and Samurai Jack as a kid.

Season 5 of Samurai Jack was disappointing.

I liked it, but man the middle was a whole lot of uneven and showing it so often that year really showed its cracks.

Man, if I could never hear about what "fans" think of The Last Jedi ever again...

...I feel I would be a happier man.

Will concur that Anime fans are the worst and that Black Lagoon got robbed!

I STILL don't understand why that movie makes some people feel some crazy ways. Shit makes no fucking sense to me. It's embarrassing.

I don't think there's enough appreciation of the irony in the absurd backlash towards TLJ. It proves the movie's point about the danger of clinging to much to the past.

No thats Part 6
It's Part 4's ending just for the time it was made and the fact it has the word 'Magenta' in it

And WarnerBros/DavidPro/LuckyLand/ whoever was able to afford it

For the record, that MHA game was actually what impressed me the most at E3 among all the demos I played there.

See, I can understand not liking TLJ, but there's this weird insistence to portray the movie as objectively bad and a commercial failure which is weird as hell to me. Also, people that don't like TLJ really like telling people they don't like TLJ. Like at least people that don't like Infinity War don't feel the need to make a thread about it every couple of weeks.

Anime fans are the worst

Ans anime is the worst

So by transitive property

Anime fans are anime

Ironically, the peeps of whom I know who are into Black Lagoon, they ~kinda fall under this mindset themselves.
What? Watching Rock go from limp dick to borderline Light Yagami Keikaku bullshit is great. He's got some excellent moments during the Yakuza arc for example. I didn't even hate the guy in the beginning since it shows from quite early on that when Rock is pushed he's almost as deadly as Revy in his own way. Dutch says it himself, Rock shouldn't have a gun since everything he does has some major consequences.

Anyone with Prime should check out Banana Fish. Even though Amazon's subtitles are shit on Roku devices, I was hooked instantly for next week

Star Wars TLJ- You can't "fix" this movie. It is BELOVED by many people and DESPISED by many people. "Fixing" the movie for a majority of the people who hated it would ruin it for the people who loved it. Controversal art is something that has existed forever, it's just the first time it's happening to a movie expected to make a billion dollars- for example, mother! last year was loved by many, and I felt was the single worst movie I have ever seen.
You can take out some of the jokes, you can trim around scenes to lower the overall bloat of the film, but for me, you aren't going to be able to fix the fundamental flaw of the movie
The movie is a 2.5 hour dramatic life-or-death chase.... where about 30 minutes into the movie, we witness an important character blown out into space, who then manages to fly back into the ship and be fine. How can you have any tension after that?!?

I just saw TLJ for the first time yesterday. It was just alright for me it didn't really stand out that much. It's no where near the prequels bad, but I wouldn't call it that great just average. The hate against it was overblown like most things in Star Wars though.
