I mean that one is actually explained in the movie, he didn't have the Time Stone on him during the whole fight, hiding it away from Thanos. His amulet was a fake/empty one.

But it was in his arsenal on earth and in space, it was a possible way to defeat him with no obvious reason why it should fail. The writers declared by fiat that letting him win was "the only way" or whatever. That's how this business rolls. "but can't x power beat him" is only going to be true if the writer wants that to be the case, ant man certainly isn't going to one shot thanos with a shrink ray even if, again, I don't think theres any specific reason why it shouldn't work in theory.

Madd's and his goons were able to break free in the Dr Strange movie so its possible it wouldn't hold Thanos either.

How would it work when he has the Reality Stone?

Saw antman and the wasp today. Well now I know why it relies on antman. And i think i finally understand those avengers 4 set photos and what they mean.

TIME VORTEX

How do you come to that conclusion?
I mean sure, he gotta get out of the quantum realm somehow, but why time "travel"?

It's really bumming me out that one of the most impactful and shocking endings of any Hollywood movie this decade is going to basically be retconned and erased in all likelihood.

I dunno, can't Dr Strange stop time and just murderize him? There's plenty of very contrived things.

Thanos is just too strong :D he couldn't just cut off his head with the basic spells either as they are not potent enough against him, unlike against Cull Obsidian for example.

But what a time to be alive now! :D kids of the future just won't understand!

What if Ant-Man isn't in Infinity War because he is in the quantum realm during that time?
Have you even watched the movie? It answers your question

Also

I can confirm End Game will have time travel element. At least time travel will take some parts in it. It is hinted at the post credit scene there is time vortex inside quantum realm

It wasn't impactful or shocking, if you've ever read a single comic or know anything about comics at all you'd know none of them are dead.

Thanos has the reality Stone at that point, shrinking him would do nothing. One could also argue that the mind stone would be a good defense against whatever time magic Strange would try if he had the some with him. He did vow to protect it with his life though so taking it out of reach immediately makes sense to me.

If some nameless mooks can break out of time freeze/reversal you can bet your ass Thanos can too.

Plus isn't it established in Dr Strange that using the time stone too much can be dangerous because of dimensional merging or some shit?

Fucking yawn.

I'd happily take another movie of Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man etc taking centre stage,

I could give a fuck about Antman and the Wasp or Captain Marvel tbh

Stop calling A4 "End Game".

Yeah I don't know why people keep using that. They said the closest guess to the real title was Avengers Forever and considering Avengers End Game was like one of the first guesses, it's probably not that. Though I wouldn't be surprised for them to use it as a fake tho.

The Russos also said the title was not spoken in the movie, specifically referring to the dumb "End Game" theory when Uproxx asked them about it back in May.

Yeah. I was just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fake. Hell, my guess is they've given a bunch of actors different Avengers 4 titles.
