A white man called police on a Black woman who was using a neighborhood pool

You will if you continue making calls like that. Charged a woman for calling four times over some kids playing basketball in THEIR own driveway. She said it was annoying her while she was tending to her garden. She was told the first time not to call 911 unless it was an emergency. She called 911 again before I even got out of the neighborhood. She was given a summons (ticket) after the third time, and arrested and taken to jail on the fourth time.
C'mon... Let's not grossly profile the guy in response to him grossly profiling people.
Considering we've heard stories of police shooting the very black people who called them for help, I see this going very badly
I want to say a majority of personal housing decisions (and housing policy) in the USA are made around race. Either directly or indirectly.

I'll be 35 soon and have never called 911 or security. How can it be this hard for other white people to mind their own business. Oh yea, racism.

All these people in the pool had to get in by swiping a card at the gate.

yes, but they think people should get over it and there shouldnt be systems in place to combat what happened and bootstraps etc. but literally its been like that for less than 55 years. Jim Crow Lasted for nearly 87 years. after the civil war.
This is why there should be protections in place for affirmative action etc for at least 100 years. but the US has half assed a lot of measures and yet again reverting things back. it takes a long time to undo things like that.

Ok, is this just a thing that is going to keep happening now? White people harassing the police because they want to be racist? Or is it just being documented more now? We're seeing about it more because everyone has a device in their pocket to record things, combined with social media.
Before, things like this never left the local police blotter in the local paper. Now,anyone can upload it and have it go nationwide pretty much instantly.

lol. Most black people's grandparents on this site lived in a time of segregation. Some of our parents were kids around that time.
White people like to act like this shit was a long time ago, but it's only because THEIR parents and grandparents lived different realities.

The thing is, everyone has had mobile devices for a long long time now so it should have been documented a lot in the past too.
I think that this is becoming a big deal (as it should be) because of the current political climate and with all the filthy racists just coming out of the woodwork it is now easier to find/more people are watching for it.
And I agree, people like this man and the other women who have been in the spotlight should be socially destroyed because I refuse to believe people like them will see the error of their ways and work to correct it. Sadly, I think a lot of these trash bags have jobs and they are probably nice ones too.... which makes it all the more glorious when they lose it!

Classism for sure. We have all folks in my neighborhood-white, Black, Latino, Asian. We all hate our HOA-they always find creative ways to screw over anyone.
I recently found out I have to get the HOA to approve the specific screen door I put on my house.
Are police not charging these people for wasting police time and resources? A ticket or something?
They should charge 5000 bucks for each unjustified call, put a price on that "privilege".

Not sure about outright racism, certainly not so on the face of the document. Although there is ample evidence out there to suggest their application is often racist. However, the classism charge is absolutely on point.
